JLG, an Oshkosh Company, has been committed to providing innovative solutions in the access market since 1969. The Sr. Assembler role involves safely assembling equipment by following detailed instructions and requires proficiency in troubleshooting various components of machinery.

Responsibilities

• Assemble parts, wires, hoses, and hydraulics onto JLG/Jerr Dan products using safe tools and techniques.
• Install various product accessories including decals, mud flaps, cameras, and lights.
• Troubleshoot electrical, hydraulic, and mechanical components and read electrical and hydraulic diagrams.
• Assist in training new team members on processes and equipment functions.
• Maintain a safe and clean work environment in compliance with safety procedures.
• Drive back defects to the point of origin and assist in implementing corrective actions.
• Validate machine configuration to align with sales orders.
• Operate all units produced in assigned job function.
• Use special equipment required to complete models produced, including torque tools and DC tools.
• Set/program all product units using tools like the JLG Analyzer for troubleshooting.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Three or more years of relevant experience in Manufacturing or General Labor.
• Ability to travel 5%.
