Overview

Crown Technical Systems, a Flex Company, is a leader in power distribution and protection systems, specializing in customized, turn-key solutions. They are seeking a Site Installation Technician in Dallas, TX, responsible for installing pre-fabricated enclosure buildings with extensive travel requirements.

Responsibilities

  • Review, analyze, and follow blueprints, diagrams, and work instructions to complete assemblies for enclosure buildings.
  • Assemble and install electrical components including panel boards, HVAC units, and battery systems.
  • Use various power tools and hand tools to accomplish assigned tasks.
  • Conduct quality assurance checks to confirm that assembled products meet specifications.
  • Identify and report product defects.
  • Monitor and maintain inventory of necessary products for each job.
  • Interface with project management, clients, and site personnel.
  • Maintain a clean and safe work area.
  • Perform all other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Experience in wiring and installing electrical control/relay panels or mechanical assembly.
  • Experience in a manufacturing or construction environment preferred.
  • OSHA 10 Construction Certification preferred or must be obtained within the first 30 days of employment.
  • Current Driver's License and ability to pass an MVR to operate company vehicles.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to perform work accurately.
  • Knowledge of manufacturing, equipment maintenance, and safety management.
  • Reading comprehension skills to interpret written directions and blueprints.
  • Basic math skills to meet technical specifications.
  • Basic understanding of tools such as tape measure and impact drill.
  • Ability to maintain a tactful, orderly working relationship with others.

  • This position will require 90% of overnight travel across the United States via company vehicle and/or airplane.
  • Shift Schedule (while not travelling): Monday - Friday, 6:00 AM - 2:30 PM.
