Overview

Dandy is a rapidly growing venture-backed company transforming the dental industry through technology. They are hiring an R&D Technician II to support their metal partials manufacturing line, focusing on hands-on production work in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

  • Perform metal post-processing on printed frameworks, including removal, tumbling, and finishing.
  • Work at the marrying station to join components and support assembly, quality checks, and packing.
  • Track case-level status and inventory using spreadsheets and internal portal tools.
  • Inspect finished components against quality standards and flag issues.
  • Operate and help maintain production equipment, performing basic troubleshooting.
  • Follow and help refine SOPs as the line scales, flagging process gaps and suggesting improvements.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safety-compliant work area.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience in a dental, dental lab, or similar precision manufacturing environment preferred.
  • Comfortable and efficient using a computer for spreadsheets, portals, and production tracking tools.
  • A self-starter who can work under minimal supervision and take ownership of daily production.
  • Strong attention to detail and comfort with repeatable, quality-driven processes.
  • Ability to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive manual tasks.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, changing production environment.
  • Comfortable operating with ambiguity and adapting quickly as processes evolve.
  • Demonstrated proficiency in speaking, reading, writing, and understanding the English language.
