Overview

The Valve Repair Technician II is responsible for performing complete over-haul and testing of various manufacturers' control valves, actuators, and positioners. This role involves diagnostics and troubleshooting in both shop and field environments, reporting directly to the Operations Manager.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain a safe, secure, and healthy environment by adhering to safety standards and legal regulations.
  • Perform control valve repair in accordance with quality procedures.
  • Directly communicate with customers.
  • Work autonomously in the valve repair process.
  • Ensure compliance of all diagnostic, testing, and repair reports with the quality system.

Requirements

  • Education preferred: high school diploma or GED equivalent.
  • Minimum 3-5 years of experience.
  • Control Valve Manufacturers Training Courses and/or certifications preferred.
  • Knowledge of HART Communicator or other diagnostic analyzer manufacturer required.
  • 0 to 30% minimum travel requirement.
