The Synthetic Finishing Associate position involves performing operations to meet quality and production standards on the 3rd shift.

Responsibilities

• Comply with all federal and state environmental, health and safety regulations.
• Set up and trim, finish parts on appropriate equipment.
• Set up and operate large laser cutting machines and automated inscription machines.
• Load and unload ovens.
• Perform final inspection of parts using various measuring devices.
• Follow all SPC procedures.
• Rework parts as necessary.
• Trim and inspect all parts as required.
• Record daily activities including clock offs and special projects.
• Record all information on GT data collection system as required.
• Perform SAP transactions such as labor and material usage in a timely and accurate manner.
• Perform miscellaneous duties in the area as assigned.
• Pull flash, cut vents and count parts.
• Rinse and bag parts as required.
• Transport work in process and finished goods within and between departments as necessary.

Requirements

• High School Diploma/GED or equivalent experience.
• Ability to read and interpret prints.
• Ability to read, understand and follow work instructions in all operations.
• Maintain annual QC certification.
• Demonstrated ability to independently read and interpret production drawings and work instructions.
