Responsibilities

  • Comply with all federal and state environmental, health and safety regulations.
  • Perform work with limited supervision or assistance.
  • Follow written/verbal instructions for maintenance tasks.
  • Participate in continuous improvement processes like 6S and Lean manufacturing.
  • Execute light electrical repairs related to plant infrastructure and equipment failures.
  • Perform advanced hydraulic repairs including pumps, lines, and cylinder rebuilds.
  • Make minor repairs to maintenance shop tooling or equipment.
  • Understand maintenance best practices related to alignment, vibration, oil, and lubrication.
  • Record all work information in the GT Computerized Maintenance Management Software.
  • Grow in knowledge of equipment repair, assembly, troubleshooting, and performance assessment.
  • Replace failed instrumentation components with like for like replacements.
  • Perform all duties in a timely and safe manner.
  • Complete miscellaneous duties within the site as directed by supervision.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma/GED or equivalent experience.
  • Minimum of 2-3 years’ experience in an industrial manufacturing environment.
  • Willingness to stay updated on maintenance technological advancements.
  • Achieve a passing score of 65% or better on the Ramsay multi-craft entry exam.
  • Ability to independently read and interpret production drawings and work instructions.
