The Finisher position involves performing operations in a clean room work area to meet or exceed quality and production standards.

Responsibilities

• Comply with all federal and state environmental, health and safety regulations.
• Set up and finish trim parts on appropriate equipment.
• Set up and operate large laser cutting machines and automated inscription machine.
• Load and unload ovens.
• Perform final inspection of parts using gauges, micrometers, and non-contact measurement tools.
• Follow all SPC procedures.
• Rework parts as necessary.
• Trim and inspect all parts as required.
• Record daily activities including clock offs and special projects.
• Record all information on GT data collection system as required.
• Perform SAP transactions such as labor and material usage.
• Perform miscellaneous duties in the White Chemraz area as assigned.
• Pull flash, cut vents, and count parts.
• Rinse and bag parts as required.
• Transport work in process and finished goods within and between departments.

Requirements

• High School Diploma/GED.
• Ability to perform job in compliance with Company’s Quality Policy (ISO 9000).
• Ability to read and interpret prints.
• Ability to read, understand, and follow work instructions in all operations.
• Maintain annual QC certification.
• Ability to work in positions requiring frequent pushing, grasping, and repetitive movement.
• Ability to occasionally work in positions requiring pulling, twisting, and reaching.
• Ability to wear personal protective equipment such as eye protection, protective gloves, and hearing protection.
• Ability to work in alternating positions of sitting and standing for long periods.
• Ability to lift and carry up to 25 lbs. without mechanical lifting devices.
• Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
• This position requires U.S. Person status as defined by applicable law.
