Overview

Gravotech is seeking a Machine Repair Technician for its Duluth, GA location, offering a $2,500 sign-on bonus. The technician will perform mechanical maintenance and repairs on industrial rotary and laser marking equipment, requiring strong electro-mechanical skills and excellent customer service.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct electrical and mechanical repairs and troubleshooting for malfunctioning or damaged equipment.
  • Deliver professional customer support while upholding a high standard of customer-facing service.
  • Utilize SAP to oversee and ensure the availability of site parts inventory.
  • Organize and monitor repair cases using the Salesforce platform, maintaining comprehensive notes and real-time status updates.
  • Perform regular inspections and testing of production machinery.
  • Ensure the workspace remains organized, clean, and hazard-free at all times.

Requirements

  • 1 year of experience in a machine repair or field service role.
  • High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
  • Training in electro-mechanical concepts is desired but not required.
  • Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills.
  • Basic understanding of measurements, computations, and calculations.
  • Proficiency with SAP and Salesforce (or similar ERP/CRM systems) is highly preferred.
