Overview

Our client, working on a first-of-a-kind prototype aircraft, is looking to bring on an Electrical Technician to help with assembly efforts. The company has strong engineering momentum, commercial traction, and investor backing.

Responsibilities

  • Assemble and install electrical wiring, harnesses, connectors, components, and sub-assemblies according to engineering drawings and work instructions.
  • Perform electrical testing, continuity checks, fault finding, and basic troubleshooting of assemblies and systems.
  • Use hand tools, crimping tools, soldering equipment, and electrical test equipment safely and effectively.
  • Inspect completed assemblies for workmanship, quality, and compliance with technical specifications.
  • Maintain accurate build records and comply with quality, safety, ESD, and defence-industry procedures.

Requirements

  • Experience in electrical assembly, wiring, harness manufacturing, or a related technician role.
  • Experience reading electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, engineering drawings, and technical documentation.
  • Hands-on experience with cable harnesses, connectors, crimping, soldering, and electrical assembly techniques.
  • Experience using electrical test and measurement equipment such as multimeters and continuity testers.
  • Aerospace, defence, electronics, or other highly regulated manufacturing experience is preferred.
