Overview

Glover Precision, Inc. is a distinguished woman-owned and AS9100 certified leader in precision manufacturing, specializing in complex components for the Aerospace, Defense, and Medical industries. We are seeking a skilled CNC Machinist to operate our 3-5 axis CNC Mill equipment and uphold our legacy of quality and precision.

Responsibilities

  • Set up, program, and operate CNC and Wire EDM machines to fabricate complex, tight-tolerance parts from various metals.
  • Interpret complex engineering drawings, blueprints, and specifications to determine machining requirements.
  • Perform in-process and first-article inspections using precision measuring instruments to ensure parts meet all quality standards.
  • Conduct routine machine maintenance to ensure optimal machine performance.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve machining issues, making necessary adjustments to programs and machine settings.
  • Maintain meticulous records of production, inspection data, and machine logs in compliance with AS9100 documentation requirements.
  • Collaborate with the engineering and quality teams to optimize processes and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Ensure a clean, organized, and safe work environment at all times.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of hands-on experience setting up and operating Wire EDM machines.
  • Proven ability to read and interpret complex blueprints and technical drawings with an understanding of GD&T.
  • Experience working in a precision manufacturing environment, accustomed to tight tolerances.
  • Proficient with precision measuring and inspection tools.
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
  • Must be a U.S. Citizen or be able to comply with ITAR requirements.
