Overview

The Fire Sprinkler Install Helper is an entry-level position responsible for assisting with the installation of fire sprinkler systems on construction and retrofit projects. This role supports foremen and fitters while learning installation techniques, safety practices, and code requirements at Century Fire Protection, a leading fire protection company based in the Southeast.

Responsibilities

  • Assist fire sprinkler installers with system installation activities.
  • Carry, stage, and organize materials, pipe, fittings, and tools.
  • Cut, thread, and prep pipe under supervision.
  • Assist with hanging pipe, installing hangers, and setting sprinkler heads.
  • Support flushing, pressure testing, and system startup activities.
  • Maintain clean, organized, and safe job sites.
  • Follow OSHA regulations and company safety policies.
  • Participate in safety meetings and on-the-job training.

Requirements

  • High school diploma and 0-2 years’ experience.
  • Construction or mechanical experience is a plus.
  • Basic computer skills, including email.
