Overview

The MWR Maintenance Worker performs maintenance and repair tasks in various trades, including plumbing, carpentry, and painting, to ensure the upkeep of grounds, exterior structures, buildings, and related utilities.

Responsibilities

  • Performs plumbing repairs by removing, cleaning, resealing, and replacing defective parts or units.
  • Installs water heaters, garbage disposal units, faucets, and sinks.
  • Measures, cuts, and constructs or repairs wood or wood substitute items.
  • Performs standard coating methods such as brushing, rolling, and spraying.
  • Observes safety, sanitation, and hazardous waste disposal rules and regulations.
  • Operates vehicles to transport tools and materials to work sites.
