Overview

Consolidated Precision Products (CPP) in Cudahy is seeking General Labor workers for their 2nd Shift Aerospace Manufacturing team. Responsibilities

  • Examine and feel the surface of workplace for defects.
  • Start grinder and move surface of workplace to remove imperfections and excess material.
  • Operate a stand grinder to remove gates, risers, rough spots, and other excess metals from castings according to specifications.
  • Work with medium to large size castings.
  • Perform work subject to inspection and check, with instructions given on new work or variations in requirements.
  • Grind to maintain contours and present smooth surfaces.
  • Sort, stack, and move castings as directed.
  • Acquire additional certifications and credentials as required for work or career development.
  • Participate in special projects as needed or assigned by Management.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • On the job training.
