Job Description

Overview

Dewberry is seeking an Entry Level Structural (Bridge) Engineer with 0-2 years of experience to work in their New York, NY office. The role involves assisting with bridge design and various civil structures while contributing to structural modeling, analysis, and code research.

Responsibilities

  • Assist with bridge design (steel and concrete) and various civil structures.
  • Perform structural modeling and analysis.
  • Conduct structural calculations and load ratings.
  • Produce plans for structural projects.
  • Conduct code research and write specifications.
  • Obtain necessary permitting.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering with a focus in Structural Engineering required; MS preferred.
  • 0-4 years of experience; previous internship experience preferred.
  • EIT is preferred.
  • Sound oral and written communication skills.
  • Proficiency using CADD (Microstation and/or AUTOCAD) required.
  • Proficiency using Microsoft Office required.
  • Desire to work in a team environment.
  • A clean driving record is required.

  • The projected salary range for this position is $84,000 - $86,500 annually.
