Overview

This position offers an exciting opportunity for an Electrician with a rapidly growing pharmaceutical manufacturer. The role involves installing, operating, maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing electrical systems and industrial electrical equipment under general supervision.

Responsibilities

  • Install, inspect, troubleshoot, repair, maintain or alter electrical services, equipment and controls.
  • Work with high and low voltage systems, including transformers.
  • Handle facilities and research electrical systems including VFDs, UPSs, ATSs, and emergency generators.
  • Work from CAD drawings, prints, schematics, sketches or verbal instructions.
  • Install static grounding circuits.
  • Operate all hand/power tools and test instruments safely.
  • Adhere to workplace safety regulations and report unsafe conditions.
  • Maintain a clean and safe work area.
  • Assist in performing other duties as required.

Requirements

  • High School graduate or equivalent.
  • Vocational or technical school certification.
  • 5+ years apprenticeship or equivalent experience in electrical installation and repair in an industrial environment.
  • Completed courses in Electrical Theory and Practice.
  • Familiarity with the local National Electric Code.
  • Ability to understand wiring diagrams, schematics, and CAD drawings.

Additional Information

  • Shift: Day shift (7 am - 3:45 pm) or 2nd shift (3:00 pm – 11:45 pm), determined by position availability.
  • Environmental conditions will vary based on the job being performed.
