Overview

Reworld is a leader in sustainable waste solutions, providing innovative solutions for carbon-negative outcomes. As an Auxiliary Operator, you will collaborate with the facility control room to operate and inspect power plant systems safely and efficiently.

Responsibilities

  • Operate and inspect power plant systems in accordance with safety operating procedures.
  • Monitor and inspect various boiler plant auxiliary equipment, including pumps, motors, and fans.
  • Read and interpret data from meters and gauges to identify trends and potential equipment disruptions.
  • Monitor air pollution control equipment.
  • Perform material sampling, chemistry testing, and treatment of water as required.
  • Safely operate heavy industrial mobile equipment such as cranes and forklifts.
  • Maintain correct levels of refuse-fuel in operations equipment.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned to ensure safe and efficient facility operations.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • A minimum of 2-3 years’ experience operating heavy industrial equipment.
  • Ability to work a rotating shift schedule.
