Overview

Williams-Sonoma, founded in 1956, is one of the largest retailers in home furnishings, with a dynamic and fast-paced Supply Chain environment. The Conveyor Technician II position in Litchfield Park, AZ is responsible for maintaining and repairing Material Handling Equipment and building systems.

Responsibilities

  • Repair and make improvements to automation, MHE, building and infrastructure.
  • Use a CMMS (work order) system.
  • Effectively communicate verbally, in writing, and via email.
  • Utilize strong interpersonal skills.
  • Maintain a safety-minded approach.
  • Problem solve and troubleshoot maintenance issues.
  • Gather materials to complete repairs and work orders.
  • Accurately track and store inventory of spare parts, tools, and equipment.
  • Support continuous improvement within all departments.
  • Be flexible with work hours and days.
  • Drive Powered Industrial Trucks, including forklifts.
  • Take WSI certification and pass.
  • Assess and resolve maintenance issues on-site.
  • Maintain Material Handling systems and robotics.
  • Perform preventative maintenance tasks using tools and equipment.
  • Assist other Maintenance Technicians.
  • Perform battery changes and preventive maintenance on batteries.
  • Understand how equipment and systems work to keep them running efficiently.
  • Identify small issues within larger systems.
  • Organize and prioritize tasks in alignment with company goals.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or Equivalent.
  • At least 5 years of experience in maintenance supporting Material Handling Systems or Facilities Building Maintenance.
  • Flexibility with work hours and days.
  • Ability to drive Powered Industrial Trucks, including forklifts.
  • Will be required to take WSI certification and pass.

Additional Information

  • This is an onsite and in office role.
