Overview

ROIS is seeking a Maintenance Mechanic to support manufacturing operations by performing preventative, predictive, and corrective maintenance on a variety of industrial equipment. This role involves troubleshooting equipment issues, completing repairs, supporting new installations, and maintaining accurate maintenance documentation while ensuring compliance with safety and quality requirements.

Responsibilities

  • Perform preventative, predictive, and on-demand maintenance on industrial equipment.
  • Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and utility systems.
  • Complete maintenance work orders and document repairs accurately.
  • Support equipment installations and ongoing equipment optimization.
  • Perform Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) procedures and follow all safety requirements.
  • Work within regulated manufacturing environments and follow SOPs.
  • Partner with Manufacturing, Technical Services, and other internal teams to support site operations.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Minimum 2 years of maintenance experience, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
  • Experience troubleshooting industrial equipment and utility systems.
  • Working knowledge of mechanical systems, pneumatics, hydraulics, and basic machine controls.
  • Basic proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
  • Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
  • Ability to stand for extended periods, lift 20+ lbs., climb, bend, kneel, and work in confined spaces.
  • Must be able to wear required PPE and work around manufacturing equipment and hazardous materials.
  • Ability to maintain a sterile work environment and complete required medical surveillance requirements.
