Overview

The Warehouse Maintenance Mechanic is responsible for the prompt repair and ongoing maintenance of facilities, equipment, and company vehicles. This role involves troubleshooting problems, maintaining grounds, and ensuring the operation of safe and functional equipment.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and repair Epoxy floor as needed
• Maintain racking - replace and move orange bars
• Maintain and repair facilities including basic plumbing and electrical system
• Maintain grounds, parking lots, and driveways; clear snow
• Provide recommendations to repair or replace poorly functioning equipment
• Efficiently prioritize repair schedule
• Conduct regular facilities inspections
• Assist in developing a preventative maintenance schedule
• Ensure an adequate inventory of necessary spare parts and materials is maintained
• Assist personnel as needed and communicate regularly to ensure maintenance needs are met
• Keep management informed of activities and significant concerns
• Report on major concerns or significant problems
• Ensure work area is clean, secure, and well maintained
• Re-key locks and repair dock doors/plates
• Perform duties in accordance with HACCP and SQF policies and procedures

Requirements

• Understanding of safety guidelines
• Automation and conveyor system experience preferred
• VFD (Variable Frequency Drives) experience preferred
• PLC (Programmable Logic Controllers) experience preferred
• Understanding of equipment operation and maintenance procedures
• Two years of on-the-job experience with electronics and mechanical equipment
• Machining and fabrication experience helpful
• Good judgement required for the position

Additional Information

• Schedule: Sunday - Thursday 2PM to 10:30PM
• Starting Hourly Rate: $27.00
