As a Weekend Structures Technician, you will perform repairs on aircraft parts and components while fostering a respectful work environment.

Responsibilities

  • Perform basic sheet metal operations such as drilling, riveting, and cutting on airframe and associated components.
  • Apply and remove sealant, sound deadening, and finish materials.
  • Maintain, clean, and repair shop facilities, equipment, and tooling when required.
  • Navigate electronic training, manuals, and maintenance databases using basic computer skills.
  • Comply with Federal Aviation Regulations and Repair Station and Quality Control Manual Policies and Procedures.
  • Execute necessary maintenance entries on maintenance forms and work orders.
  • Ensure work area cleanliness and good housekeeping.
  • Follow processes and procedures when working away from the Repair Station.
  • Utilize, calibrate, and ensure proper working order of tooling and equipment.
  • Ensure repair and overhaul of articles and components is inspected by the inspection department.
  • Handle and tag all parts properly during the repair process.
  • Conduct incoming inspections to determine airworthiness of parts and supplies.
  • Communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing.
  • Perform other job-related duties as assigned by supervisor or management.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent; Airframe and Powerplant License preferred.
  • Prior aircraft sheet metal repair experience is highly recommended.
  • Valid driver's license approved for airline travel and/or valid passport is ideal but not mandatory.
  • Self-motivated team player able to perform in a fast-paced environment.
  • Reliable transportation to get to work each day.
