Overview

Bodycote, the world’s largest provider of thermal processing services, is seeking a Heat Treater B in Arlington, TX. This role involves performing essential job functions associated with heat treatment under the direction of the Plant Manager to meet customer specifications.

Responsibilities

  • Assists with operations, control and monitoring of heat treating and related equipment.
  • Prepares work for processing; loads and unloads furnaces, bins, fixtures, baskets, etc.
  • Brings any unusual problem or irregularity to the attention of supervisor.
  • Practices and promotes safety and good housekeeping.
  • Performs other tasks as assigned or dictated by position.
  • Responsible for the care and treatment of customer’s inventory to prevent loss or damage.
  • Reports for work on time, follows directions, interacts effectively with co-workers, and accepts constructive criticism.

Requirements

  • Must satisfy ITAR compliance requirements; candidates must be U.S. Citizens or Permanent Resident Card Holders.
  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Minimum six months experience in manufacturing.
  • Working knowledge of metallurgy, temperatures, etc.
  • May be required to work overtime or any shift, including weekends.
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain forklift operation certification.
  • Ability to read, write and communicate in English.

Additional Information

  • Full-time position, 40 hours per week.
  • Work schedule: 10:00 PM to 6:30 AM, Monday through Friday.
  • Must pass a pre-employment drug screen and basic physical.
  • Position is deemed safety-sensitive.
