Overview

The Industrial Maintenance Technician position at JMC King of Prussia is essential for maintaining the smooth operation of production through both reactive and preventive maintenance tasks. Located in King of Prussia, Pennsylvania, this role requires troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining all facility and production equipment.

Responsibilities

  • Respond promptly to reactive maintenance calls to diagnose and repair equipment issues.
  • Perform scheduled preventive maintenance on all JMC facility and production machinery.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of all maintenance areas, tools, and equipment.
  • Manage and track parts inventory, including fabrication and repair of parts as needed.
  • Operate and maintain tools and equipment provided by JMC to complete assigned tasks.

Requirements

  • Ability to lift and carry 50lbs.
  • Basic computer skills including Microsoft Office.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Must be willing to work in a dusty environment.
  • Proficient in utilizing hand tools.
  • At least 18 years of age and legally eligible to work in the U.S.
  • Willingness to work on B or C shifts and to work mandatory overtime, weekends, and holidays.
  • Basic mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting knowledge.
  • Electrical/controls troubleshooting training or experience.
  • Basic machine shop skills and parts fabrication.
  • Experience with shop tools and hand tools.
  • High school diploma or GED.
  • Regular, reliable, and predictable attendance.
  • Passion and willingness to learn and grow.
  • Mechatronics or similar education is a plus.
  • General mechanic/maintenance experience with related training certificate or technical degree is a plus.
  • Machine shop/welding/metal fabrication experience/training is a plus.
  • Electronic/Electrical troubleshooting and repair experience/training is a plus.
  • Rigging/moving lifting equipment operator experience is a plus.

Additional Information

  • Location: JMC King of Prussia, 418 W Church Rd, King of Prussia, PA.
  • Duration: 12 Months.
  • Pay Rate: $26.
  • Shift: B-Shift (2:00 PM – 10:00 PM EST).
  • Schedule: Monday – Friday, 40 hours/week with mandatory overtime, weekends, and holidays as required.
