Job Description
Overview
CS Truck & Trailer Repair is seeking a Trailer Shop Technician to join their mechanically savvy team. The company is a full-service facility specializing in truck and trailer maintenance and repair, offering a supportive environment with cutting-edge technology to enhance efficiency.
Responsibilities
- Perform accident repairs on dry van and reefer trucks and trailers including welding and fabrication.
- Conduct DOT and preventative inspections and repairs on box and flatbed trailers.
- Perform complete preventive maintenance services, including replacing airlines and repairing brakes.
- Repair lights and wiring, and conduct welding and cutting as needed.
- Work some overtime as required.
Requirements
- Strong knowledge of accident repairs, electrical systems, hydraulics, braking systems, suspension, doors, and sub-frames.
- Must have tools and reliable transportation.
- Experience in housing/building construction is a plus.
- Safety-first mindset is essential.
- Must possess 5+ years of verifiable experience in a similar capacity.
- Resilient work ethic with a commitment to extra hours when needed.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work in a team environment.
