Job Description

Overview

This position is for an Electro-Mechanical Equipment Technician at a global leader in the device industry, focusing on helping people see brilliantly. The role involves troubleshooting and maintaining high-speed production equipment with a potential for contract extension or conversion.

Responsibilities

  • Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and control system issues.
  • Perform preventative maintenance (PM).
  • Improve equipment performance and output.
  • Follow cGMP and SOPs; update procedures as needed.
  • Rebuild and restore parts.
  • Collaborate with production teams and engineers.

Requirements

  • 3-5 years industrial or manufacturing maintenance experience.
  • Experience with PLCs, sensors, pneumatics, and VFDs.
  • High school diploma (technical certification preferred).
  • Strong English communication skills.
