Milo Live is a premier design and manufacturing company specializing in innovative live fire training systems, modular shooting ranges, and HVAC solutions. We are seeking an experienced Welder to join our North Las Vegas manufacturing team, focusing on precision welding, metal fabrication, and finishing work on steel frames and components for specialized training equipment and shooting range systems.

Responsibilities

  • Perform hand welding and flame-cutting operations to join metal components according to specifications, blueprints, and work orders.
  • Handle complex seams and large-scale workpieces requiring advanced welding techniques.
  • Interpret technical drawings, specifications, and shop drawings accurately.
  • Utilize precision measuring devices and material handling equipment.
  • Create jigs, fixtures, and work aids to ensure proper alignment and holding of parts.
  • Select appropriate welding methods and equipment based on metallurgy knowledge and project requirements.
  • Perform measuring, layout, and finishing work to meet exact specifications.
  • Provide feedback to management for product enhancement opportunities.
  • Follow all safety protocols and health policies.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED required.
  • Minimum 2-3 years of professional welding experience.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
  • Proficiency with precision measuring instruments.
  • Experience operating material handling equipment (forklift certification preferred).
  • Knowledge of metallurgy and various welding techniques.
  • Strong attention to detail and quality standards.
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Physical ability to handle demanding fabrication work.
  • Must be certified in MIG welding (1-inch, all positions).
  • Proficiency in GMAW, SMAW, FCAW (Steel) in flat, horizontal, and vertical positions.
