Overview

Elevate your career at Marotta Controls, a New Jersey Top Workplace three years running! The Deburr Technician position is primarily responsible for the Deburring and Polishing of various types of machined parts, requiring detail-oriented skills and effective communication.

Responsibilities

  • Utilize appropriate tools to remove sharp edges from critical valve components.
  • Effectively perform parts inspections with little supervisory intervention.
  • Independently review documentation and inspect material to ensure conforming product.
  • Actively participate in troubleshooting activities to resolve issues.
  • Coordinate work flow from one work center to another as directed.
  • Abide by all safety, quality, housekeeping and company policies/procedures.
  • Participate in team meetings and support actions to drive company initiatives.
  • Contribute to a positive work environment through effective communication.
  • Keep management informed of area activities and significant problems.
  • Ensure that work area is clean, secure, and well maintained.
  • Complete special projects and miscellaneous assignments as required.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Demonstrated finishing and/or buffing experience.
  • Self-motivated with the ability to analyze, organize, plan, multi-task and achieve results.
  • Effective verbal/written communication skills required.
  • Must be a US Citizen.
