Overview

Join one of the world's leading semiconductor equipment manufacturers and play a critical role in supporting the advanced technologies that power modern electronics. As a Field Service Engineer, you'll work directly with customers to install, maintain, troubleshoot, and upgrade highly sophisticated semiconductor manufacturing equipment.

Responsibilities

  • Perform on-site installation, maintenance, repair, and service of advanced semiconductor processing equipment.
  • Diagnose and resolve mechanical, electrical, and system-level equipment issues to maximize customer uptime.
  • Execute preventive maintenance activities and recommend corrective actions when needed.
  • Install replacement parts, assemblies, and system upgrades.
  • Support equipment modifications, process improvements, and engineering change implementations.
  • Maintain accurate service documentation, maintenance records, and technical reports.
  • Partner with customers, peers, and management to coordinate service activities and minimize production interruptions.
  • Train and support customer technicians on equipment operation, maintenance procedures, and best practices.

Requirements

  • 2+ years of experience maintaining, troubleshooting, repairing, or supporting semiconductor capital equipment.
  • Strong mechanical aptitude with the ability to safely use hand tools, power tools, and precision equipment.
  • Experience diagnosing technical issues and performing equipment maintenance and repairs.
  • Excellent communication and customer-facing skills.
  • Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with customers and internal teams.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety and quality standards.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical documentation, schematics, and service procedures.
  • Comfortable working in cleanroom environments and following semiconductor industry protocols.
