Overview

The 2nd Shift Quality Control Technician will inspect and test incoming materials to ensure they meet quality standards, playing a critical role in maintaining production integrity and customer satisfaction. Responsibilities

  • Inspect and measure materials and products to confirm specifications.
  • Conduct visual and measurement tests, rejecting or returning unacceptable materials.
  • Maintain accurate records of inspections, test results, and non-conformances.
  • Support material handling and physical inventory in the inspection area.
  • Create process documents as needed.
  • Support Engineering Reviews and the internal audit process.
  • Ensure compliance with quality control standard operating procedures and work instructions.
  • Follow work instructions, rules, and safety guidelines.
  • Maintain a clean and safe work area.
  • Participate in special projects or perform other duties as assigned by supervisor.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma with 2-5 years of experience in quality inspections in a high-tech manufacturing environment or equivalent.
  • Experience in an ISO 9001 or IATF16949 Certified Company with knowledge of quality control principles.
  • Proficiency in using measurement tools and equipment.
  • Ability to read blueprints, specifications, and technical documents.
  • Ability to follow standardized work and not deviate from SOP and work instructions.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to handle multiple projects while maintaining attention to detail.
