Overview

Lift Solutions and CapCo Crane & Hoist are seeking a Welder/Fabricator to join their team, providing industrial lifting solutions and custom overhead cranes for various industries. The role involves welding, fabrication, and ensuring safety and quality standards in a dynamic work environment.

Responsibilities

  • Layout/manufacturing of electric overhead bridge cranes.
  • Perform welding tasks on various materials using different welding processes to meet quality standards.
  • Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications to fabricate custom parts and assemblies.
  • Assemble fabricated components into final products, ensuring structural integrity.
  • Inspect and test welds and finished products for adherence to safety standards and quality control.
  • Perform routine maintenance and repairs on fabrication equipment and tools.
  • Follow all safety protocols and OSHA regulations to ensure a safe work environment.
  • Troubleshoot fabrication issues and identify solutions to maintain workflow and quality.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED preferred.
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints for layout and metal shapes.
  • 3+ years of experience as a welder and fabricator in an industrial or manufacturing setting.
  • Strong knowledge of welding techniques and metalworking processes, including MIG, TIG, and stick welding.
  • Knowledge of safety procedures and ability to follow OSHA guidelines.
  • Strong attention to detail and quality assurance practices.
  • Good communication skills and ability to work effectively as part of a team.
  • Ability to lift heavy materials and work in a physically demanding environment.
  • Driver’s License required.

What you'll be running
