Fire Escape Services Network is hiring skilled tradespeople including Ironworks-Fabricators, Wood Balcony Carpenters, Painters, and Home Inspectors for contract work in Boston and New England. The company offers steady work and focuses on building restoration teams across the U.S.

Responsibilities

  • Perform repairs, replacement work, and structural corrections on fire escapes.
  • Conduct painting and maintenance tasks including prep, scraping, and rust treatment.
  • Inspect and repair wood balconies and exterior egress systems.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of trade experience preferred, especially in fire escape, ironwork, or balconies.
  • Valid driver's license required (MA or CA depending on work location).
  • Background check required.
  • Must complete W-9 / 1099 forms.
  • References and proven track record needed.
  • Must sign Independent Contractor Agreement.
  • Insurance required: General Liability and Workers Comp (current).
