Overview

Klein Tools is seeking a CNC Machine Operator III to produce machined parts by setting up and running complex jobs on CNC machines. The role emphasizes quality, safety, and teamwork while offering a competitive sign-on bonus for qualified candidates.

Responsibilities

• Operate drill presses, manual milling machines, CNC milling machines, manual lathes and CNC lathes.
• Perform complex set-up of CNC machines by loading programs and adjusting tools.
• Make adjustments to the program as needed.
• Load and unload raw materials and parts into the machine.
• Verify settings by measuring positions and inspecting first-run parts.
• Inspect and measure finished products using precision measuring tools.
• Compare finished products to drawing specifications for quality standards.
• Maintain specifications by observing machining processes and making adjustments.
• Document and communicate actions and irregularities for work continuity.
• Keep work area clean and orderly, complying with 5S standards.
• Maintain a safe work environment by following safety procedures and regulations.
• Perform other duties as required within the nature and level of work.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
• Five (5) years of experience operating and programming CNC Mills or Lathes is required.
• Seven (7) years of experience is preferred.
• Must be able to read, write, speak and understand basic English.
• Proficiency in basic math and trigonometry.
• Ability to communicate and work as a team member.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Ability to read and understand part and tool prints.
• Ability to use precision measuring tools and hold close tolerances.

Additional Information

• Position located in Trevose, PA.
• 2nd shift hours of operation are from 2:30 PM to 11:30 PM EDT.
• First few weeks of training will be on the 1st shift from 6:30 AM to 3:00 PM EDT.
