As a Structural Engineering Professional, you will be an integral member of the design team, performing structural analysis and design for advanced technology industrial projects.

Responsibilities

  • Perform all conventional aspects of Structural Engineering and analysis under general supervision.
  • Plan and conduct work requiring judgment in the evaluation and selection of engineering techniques.
  • Exercise sound engineering judgment and problem-solving skills.
  • Possess knowledge of seismic design principles and apply building code provisions.
  • Exhibit a high level of attention to detail and quality control.
  • Perform calculation checking of other engineers' work.
  • Manage workload and take full ownership of assigned work.
  • Identify scope changes and escalate them to the Structural Lead or Project Manager.
  • Provide technical guidance and mentorship to designers and less experienced engineers.
  • Lead a team of Structural Engineers and Designers on assigned projects.

Requirements

  • Bachelor of Science Degree in Civil Engineering with an emphasis in Structural Engineering.
  • Professional Engineer License (PE).
  • Minimum of 4 years of experience in Structural Engineering.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong interpersonal skills.
  • Experience with US building codes including IBC, ASCE 7, ACI, and AISC.
