Overview

We are actively seeking skilled Cryogenic Technicians to join a dedicated industrial service and repair facility in Houston, TX. This pivotal role involves hands-on inspection, troubleshooting, maintenance, repair, testing, and reconditioning of cryogenic and industrial gas equipment.

Responsibilities

  • Inspect, troubleshoot, repair, rebuild, and test cryogenic and industrial gas equipment.
  • Perform maintenance and repair of cryogenic tanks/containers, pressure vessels, piping, valves, pumps, fittings, and related components.
  • Diagnose vacuum loss and carry out troubleshooting and repairs on vacuum systems.
  • Conduct leak detection and vacuum testing, with helium mass spectrometer testing experience highly desirable.
  • Repair and rebuild cryogenic and vacuum pumps and associated equipment.
  • Troubleshoot electrical components, wiring, switches, controls, and instrumentation linked to industrial gas systems.
  • Assemble, fit, install, modify, and recondition mechanical components utilizing precision tools and measurement devices.
  • Execute pressure and hydrostatic testing as required.
  • Work safely with lifting, rigging, cranes, and other material-handling equipment.
  • Perform fabrication tasks including tubing, piping, welding, brazing, or orbital welding when qualified.
  • Follow safety protocols, quality standards, inspections, and documentation procedures.
  • Accurately document inspections, repairs, testing, parts, and work completion in the company's operating system.
  • Communicate effectively with supervisors, team members, and customers regarding repairs and technical findings.
