Overview

We are looking for a hands-on Robotics Technician to assist with the assembly, integration, testing, troubleshooting, and verification of complex electromechanical systems. The ideal candidate will be comfortable working directly with mechanical and electrical hardware, reading technical documentation, building wiring and cable assemblies, and diagnosing hardware issues using standard test equipment.

Responsibilities

• Build and integrate mechanical and electrical components according to engineering drawings, schematics, work instructions, and other technical documentation.
• Assemble cable assemblies, wiring harnesses, connectors, and low-voltage electrical systems.
• Perform electrical and mechanical checks using equipment such as multimeters, oscilloscopes, power supplies, torque tools, and dimensional measurement equipment.
• Assist with system bring-up, commissioning, calibration, continuity checks, signal verification, and functional testing.
• Investigate hardware issues through inspection, electrical measurements, test results, and root-cause troubleshooting.
• Perform approved repairs, component changes, modifications, and other corrective work.
• Document build information, test results, inspections, configuration details, serial numbers, and engineering feedback.
• Work alongside engineering and manufacturing teams to improve assembly, integration, testing, and production processes.
• Support both prototype and low-volume production builds as hardware continues to evolve.

Requirements

• Professional experience assembling, repairing, testing, or troubleshooting complex electromechanical equipment.
• Ability to read and work from mechanical drawings, electrical schematics, assembly instructions, and parts documentation.
• Hands-on experience with mechanical assembly, connectors, cable termination, soldering, fastening, and basic electrical troubleshooting.
• Comfortable using tools and equipment such as calipers, micrometers, multimeters, oscilloscopes, torque tools, and bench power supplies.
• Experience identifying hardware defects, assembly issues, quality problems, and nonconformances.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to accurately document technical work.
