Overview

The Electro-Mechanical Technician Senior is responsible for assembling electro-mechanical assemblies by interpreting blueprints and engineering drawings, as well as supporting the manufacturing of space flight sub-systems and support equipment.

Responsibilities

  • Electro-Mechanical assembly of printed circuit board assemblies into product chassis.
  • Assemble Electro-Mechanical assemblies by interpreting blueprints, engineering drawings and specifications.
  • Test Electro-Mechanical assemblies by executing test procedures and operating various electronics equipment.
  • Use precision calibrated tools such as torque wrenches, micrometers, and calipers.
  • Perform visual inspection of Electro-Mechanical assemblies to ensure conformance to specifications.
  • Document non-conformances and associated rework/repair.
  • Solder and rework through-hole and SMT components.
  • Mix and apply conformal coat, masking, epoxies, and polyurethane coatings.
  • Meet necessary certification as required.
  • Perform incidental related duties as assigned or required.
