Overview

The Dock and Door Service Tech position involves troubleshooting, diagnosing, servicing, repairing, and installing dock and door equipment. The role requires performing planned maintenance, welding, and maintaining a service van and its inventory.

Responsibilities

  • Troubleshoot, diagnose, service, repair and install dock and door equipment.
  • Perform all assigned planned maintenance on customer dock and door equipment.
  • Welding.
  • Maintain a service van and its inventory.
  • Process paperwork after completion of each job.

Requirements

  • Less than 2 years related experience.
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Valid driver's license with a good driving record.
  • Ability to safely operate lift trucks.
  • Technical school graduate preferred.
  • Mechanical and electrical aptitude.
  • Welding experience.
  • Good written and verbal communication and customer care skills.
  • Read and understand hydraulic and electrical schematics.
  • Familiar with tools and equipment such as common hand tools.
