Overview

The Mechanic Manager position at Englewood Lab, Inc. requires 7+ years of maintenance experience in an industrial or manufacturing environment, with a focus on filling and assembly equipment. Responsibilities

  • Troubleshoot production equipment such as high-speed automated lines and fillers.
  • Work well under pressure and manage multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Acquire technical expertise to set up production equipment.
  • Report problems that prevent task completion to the supervisor.
  • Collaborate with different departments for smooth production line start-up.
  • Analyze and record deviations in packing processes and modify equipment as needed.
  • Disassemble, clean, and re-assemble production equipment.
  • Recommend equipment and system improvements.
  • Ensure compliance with cGMP policies and company SOP guidelines.
  • Maintain a safe and clean work environment.
  • Ensure compliance with operational policies and industry regulations.
  • Perform mechanical PMs during operation or scheduled downtime.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED or higher.
  • English communication skills required; Korean or Spanish is helpful.
  • Minimum 7+ years of production line experience in the cosmetic, pharmaceutical, or food industry.
  • Ability to work within a team structure with minimal supervision.
  • Experience with different types of filling equipment, including liquid, tube, powder, and creams.
  • Knowledge of FDA, cGMP, and OSHA regulations.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • Strong interpersonal, communication, and collaboration skills.
  • Excellent problem-solving and innovation techniques.
