Responsibilities

  • Develop and deliver Test Fixture Design Packages including mechanical/electrical design files, assembly instructions, and validation protocols.
  • Execute Test Station Bring-Up activities including calibration records, GR&R studies, and correlation data.
  • Perform Environmental Testing including Thermal Shock, HALT, and related stress tests.
  • Conduct Mechanical Testing using Instron, Drop, and Vibration equipment.
  • Execute ESD Testing per applicable standards.
  • Operate Metrology equipment including CT Scan and CMM.
  • Perform FTIR / Material Analysis for material characterization and failure analysis.
  • Carry out Electrical/Mechanical Rework as needed for test sample preparation or corrective actions.
  • Manage Equipment Preventive Maintenance schedules and execution.
  • Maintain Equipment Calibrations ensuring all instruments are within calibration windows.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or related technical field.
  • 3–5+ years of experience in a hardware test lab or validation environment.
  • Proficiency in mechanical and electrical fixture/test station design using CAD tools such as SolidWorks and AutoCAD.
  • Hands-on experience with environmental, mechanical, and ESD test equipment.
  • Strong knowledge of metrology tools (CT Scan, CMM) and material analysis (FTIR).
  • Demonstrated experience with equipment calibration, PM programs, and GR&R studies.
  • Excellent documentation skills including SOPs, test reports, and calibration records.
  • Familiarity with lab safety, ESD controls, and quality management systems.
