Overview

CSI is seeking an experienced Welder to join their Field Installation team, responsible for installing sanitary process systems at customer locations across the country. The role requires strong TIG welding skills, attention to detail, and a commitment to safety and customer service.

Responsibilities

• Perform TIG welding of sanitary stainless-steel tubing and process piping.
• Perform grinding, polishing, and finishing of welded components.
• Assist with pipe fitting and installation activities as needed.
• Accurately read and interpret tape measurements, scales, blueprints, drawings, and schematics.
• Operate forklifts, scissor lifts, torches, saws, drill motors, plasma torches, and other equipment.
• Follow established safety procedures and properly use required personal protective equipment.
• Work effectively as part of a field installation team while maintaining a professional presence at customer facilities.
• Travel to customer locations and work overnight and/or weekend assignments as required.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
• Take ownership of assigned work and complete installations according to specifications, quality standards, and customer expectations.

Requirements

• Experienced welder with strong TIG welding skills.
• Mechanically inclined with the ability to understand and apply welding and pipe-fitting techniques.
• Detail-oriented and committed to producing quality work.
• Takes pride in workmanship and accepts responsibility for work performed.
• Safety-conscious and committed to following established safety practices.
• Comfortable working in active field environments and at customer facilities.
• Able to work effectively as part of a team.
• Willing and able to travel extensively as required.
• TIG welding experience — required.
• 2–3 years of sanitary tube welding experience — required.
• Pipe-fitting experience — required.
• Experience operating basic construction equipment — required.
• Forklift and scissor lift experience.
• Experience operating drill motors, plasma torches, Fischer saws, and related equipment.
• Experience working at customer facilities — preferred.

Additional Information

• Based out of Grand Prairie, TX.
• Overnight and/or weekend travel is necessary and may be as much as 100%.
• CSI provides required tools, travel, hotel accommodations, meals, and other miscellaneous travel expenses.
