Overview

Quality Packaging (Qual Pac) is seeking a Maintenance Technician for the 2nd shift, emphasizing a strong work ethic, collaboration, and customer focus. The role involves maintaining various equipment and ensuring operational efficiency in a company with over 50 years of experience.

Responsibilities

  • Perform routine preventative maintenance on mechanical handling equipment.
  • Document records of maintenance, inspections, and repairs.
  • Select repair parts and update parts records.
  • Repair mechanical damage and replace defective parts.
  • Maintain and repair batteries and chargers.
  • Apply mechanical skills to troubleshoot and repair electrical and plumbing systems.
  • Read and interpret schematics and equipment manuals.
  • Use mechanical hand tools and measuring instruments.
  • Comply with OSHA Safety and Health regulations.

Requirements

  • Minimum of a High School Diploma and 5 years equivalent experience.
  • Strong electrical troubleshooting skills.
  • Strong mechanical aptitude.
  • Understanding of high-voltage wiring (480V 3-phase motors).
  • Experience with multi-craft maintenance and repair.
  • Basic computer skills including Microsoft Office.
  • Experience with C.M.M.S. software.
  • Knowledge of Servo drives and motors.
  • Basic knowledge of logic software.

  • Shift: 2nd shift 3:30pm - 12:00am.
