Overview

XL Pro Staffing and Consulting is seeking experienced Welders for 1st and 2nd shifts in Hutchins, TX. The role involves layout, fitting, assembly, and welding of metal components while ensuring quality workmanship and safe operations.

Responsibilities

  • Select welding equipment and plan layout, assembly, and welding procedures.
  • Lay out, position, align, and fit components together.
  • Bolt, clamp, and tack-weld parts to secure them for final welding.
  • Set up equipment and weld parts in flat and out-of-position welds, including vertical plate and tubular connections.
  • Perform welding using arc, gas-shielded arc, submerged arc, or gas welding equipment.
  • Assemble parts by bolting and riveting.
  • Repair products by dismantling, straightening, reshaping, and reassembling components.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 5 years of welding experience required.
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Must complete and pass an onsite welding test (1G & 3G).
  • Candidates will be evaluated based on the required welding criteria.
  • Basic English reading, writing, and speaking skills.
  • Strong math skills.
  • Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
  • Ability to lift up to 30 lbs. frequently.

Additional Information

  • 1st Shift: Monday–Friday | 6:00 AM–2:15 PM
  • 2nd Shift: Monday–Friday | 2:15 PM–12:45 AM
  • Pay Rate: $24.00–$26.00 per hour, depending on experience and welding test results.
  • E-Verify, Drug Test, 7 Year Background Check required.
  • Interested candidates should bring two unexpired forms of ID to apply.
