Overview

Modine has been addressing thermal management challenges for over 100 years, focusing on engineering solutions for cleaner and healthier environments. The Fabrication Setup & Operate position involves setting up and operating CNC press brake equipment to accurately and safely bend and form sheet metal parts according to specifications.

Responsibilities

  • Set up and operate various CNC fabricators, shear, spot weld and press brake equipment per print.
  • Fabricate parts using various sheet metal fabricating tools and machines.
  • Read and interpret blueprints, bend diagrams, and tolerances.
  • Set up fabrication equipment to produce parts to print.
  • Perform preventative maintenance on equipment as required.
  • Input programs in CNC controls and make adjustments as necessary.
  • Work with engineering to produce parts to print.
  • Work in a safe manner and doesn't endanger others.
  • Keep accurate inventory of tools.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • 1+ years of experience in manufacturing environment, preferably in press brake setup and operation.
  • Must be able to read blueprints and use a variety of measuring instruments.
  • Ability to lift approximately 50 lbs.
  • High school diploma or GED required.
