Overview

Reworld is a leader in sustainable waste solutions, providing innovative solutions to help customers achieve carbon-negative outcomes. As a Maintenance Mechanic, you will be responsible for the maintenance tasks required to ensure the operational effectiveness of equipment and systems in Reworld’s industrial disposal process.

Responsibilities

  • Complete preventive maintenance tasks to prevent breakdowns of equipment.
  • Utilize root-cause analysis skills to investigate breakdowns and line stoppages.
  • Prioritize work to ensure timely maintenance, repair, and installation of equipment.
  • Utilize the maintenance documentation program to manage work orders and spare parts.
  • Repair and maintain the operating condition of industrial machinery or equipment.
  • Observe and evaluate the operation of machinery to diagnose malfunctions.
  • Review maintenance reports to plan and modify maintenance activities.
  • Inspect machines and equipment for conformance with operational and safety standards.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent, preferred.
  • A minimum of 2-4 years’ experience in a heavy industrial/manufacturing environment.
  • Ability to work a rotating shift schedule.
