Job Description

Overview

Dow is seeking exceptional Undergraduate and Graduate level Engineering students for entry-level Engineering opportunities in Operations. The role involves a broad range of responsibilities in various work settings, focusing on safe and efficient plant operations while contributing to a sustainable future through science and collaboration.

Responsibilities

  • Provide technical support to plant operating personnel to maintain safe, reliable, and efficient operations.
  • Manufacturing process troubleshooting and problem solving.
  • Preventive maintenance and yield and process improvements.
  • Waste reduction and safety enhancements.
  • Process control and cost optimization.
  • Project management and implementation.
  • Equipment design and new technology implementation.

Requirements

  • A Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Civil Engineering or Material Science / Metallurgical Engineering.
  • Graduation date of no later than September 2027.
  • Ability to work legally in the United States on a permanent basis.
  • Preferred GPA of 3.0 (on a 4.0 scale) at your current university.
  • Enrolled in an ABET accredited program.

  • For positions based in Illinois and California, a reasonable pay range for this position based on Bachelor's Degree is $90,300 – $93,488 annually and for Master's Degree is $95,600 - $99,462 annually.
