Overview

At Bridgestone HosePower, Mobile Sales and Service Technicians (MSST) deliver built hose assemblies and repair services directly to customers. This role involves diagnosing machine issues, performing repairs, and engaging with customers to expand the customer base.

Responsibilities

  • Build hydraulic hose assemblies on-site at customer locations
  • Remove and install hose assemblies as needed
  • Perform machine inspections to ensure proper function and safety
  • Conduct cold call prospecting to develop new business within assigned territory
  • Manage territory accounts and maintain strong customer relationships
  • Provide accurate information for quotations on large-scale projects
  • Submit timely and legible data for invoicing and service documentation
  • Maintain and protect company-owned tools, equipment, and vehicles at all times

Requirements

  • Must be 21 years or older
  • Valid driver’s license for a minimum of three years
  • No more than two moving violations in the past three years
  • No DUI charges or convictions
  • Willingness to learn
  • Sound, independent judgment as needed
  • Professional customer relations and communication skills
  • Passion for excellence
  • Good soft skills for customer interaction and building relationships
  • Ability to work under pressure
  • Mechanical aptitude
  • Sound time management skills
  • Ability to work independently and self-motivated
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Prior experience with effective troubleshooting resolution
