We’re seeking a Maintenance Technician A who’s ready to be part of a company committed to formulating everyday success for every customer through innovative, reliable products used to adhere, seal, and protect at every level of the building envelope.

Responsibilities

  • Perform periodic, scheduled inspections and checks of equipment to determine whether failures or issues are present.
  • Assemble and disassemble machines to make repairs, perform inspections, and replace with new items while maintaining safety and production goals.
  • Troubleshoot equipment to identify root cause(s) and suggest appropriate follow-up actions.
  • Identify failed components and determine necessary replacement parts.
  • Interact directly with production and other plant teammates in a professional manner.
  • Utilize a Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) to receive work instructions and fully document work performed.
  • Comply with all safety and environmental protocols relating to operations.
  • Locate spare parts in the storeroom and follow stock check-out processes.
  • Maintain a dedicated toolbox and shared maintenance tools and supplies in an organized manner.
  • Demonstrate a commitment to communicating, improving and adhering to health, safety and environmental policies.

Requirements

  • High school diploma.
  • Five or more years’ experience in an industrial environment as a maintenance employee performing Preventive and Corrective Maintenance.
  • Knowledge of and experience working in Power Transmission, Lubrication, Hydraulics & Pneumatics, DC Circuits, AC Circuits, Process Controls, Industrial Automation, and PLCs & Networking.
