Overview

Founded in 1975, Salas O’Brien is an employee-owned engineering and professional services firm focused on achieving impact for clients and the world. The role involves shop and field fabrication of stainless-steel equipment and piping.

Responsibilities

  • Accurately fabricate stainless steel components from raw materials to a finished product using Water Jet Cutter and various finish/polishing machines.
  • Interpret shop prints and transfer them to a finished product.
  • Work to a high quality/finish standard, fabricating components to USDA Dairy standards.
  • Collaborate with team members to accomplish fabrication tasks and meet schedules.
  • Utilize math skills to calculate angles and offsets.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma (Preferred)
  • Ability to Tig weld proficiently
  • Open to in-house training
  • Ability to drive a forklift
  • Clean driving record (Preferred)
  • Self-starter
  • Detail oriented

Additional Information

  • Shop associates will be 90% in the shop while field associates will be 90% field.
  • Location: Northern Colorado
  • Travel: Up to 10% for project continuity.
