Overview

Generator Supercenter of Denver is seeking an experienced Gas Pipefitter to install natural gas and propane lines for residential standby generator projects throughout the Denver metro area. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience and a commitment to clean workmanship and code-compliant installations.

Responsibilities

  • Install natural gas and propane lines for standby generator projects.
  • Work with common gas piping materials and systems.
  • Assist with layout and routing of gas lines to meet code and homeowner standards.
  • Use and maintain gas piping tools and equipment.
  • Perform pressure testing and leak testing as required.
  • Support permit and inspection readiness.

Requirements

  • 2+ years of experience with natural gas and propane piping.
  • 1+ years of experience with residential generator installations or similar fuel-piping work.
  • Experience with black iron pipe layout, cutting, threading, and installation.
  • Experience with underground poly gas line installation.
  • Knowledge of CSST installation practices.
  • Ability to operate pipe threader machines.
  • Experience with MegaPress or similar press system applications.
  • Ability to read or follow gas line layouts, installation notes, and job scopes.
  • Experience working around finished homes where clean routing and appearance matter.
  • Ability to lift a minimum of 50 pounds and work with piping materials and tools.
