Overview

The Project Engineer - Cementing position at Weatherford involves leading engineering activities to support manufacturing, testing, and vendor management for Surface Pumping Units. Responsibilities

  • Ensure all activities comply with corporate governance and ethical standards.
  • Prioritize Quality, Health & Safety, Security, and environmental protection.

  • Demonstrate effective safety leadership for subordinates and visitors.
  • Familiarize with and comply with the Company's Quality policies.

  • Perform engineering activities related to manufacturing support and testing.
  • Coordinate with vendors to develop manufacturing plans and layouts.
  • Utilize Design for Manufacturability techniques to reduce costs and improve reliability.
  • Update CAD models and drawings as needed.
  • Interact with engineering teams and provide engineering support.
  • Lead or participate in Root Cause Analysis investigations.
  • Review Nonconformance Reports and field incidents.
  • Comply with all safety rules and company policies.
  • Communicate effectively with all key stakeholders.
  • Manage costs within approved budgets and time frames.
  • Develop personal career through training and performance discussions.
  • Engage employees in talent management and performance processes.
  • Collaborate with HR to support recruitment and retention strategies.
  • Demonstrate leadership and adherence to company standards.
