Responsibilities

  • Produce high-quality welds and assemblies that meet engineering specifications and applicable welding codes.
  • Perform MIG, TIG, and Stick welding on a variety of metals and material thicknesses.
  • Read and interpret blueprints, fabrication drawings, schematics, and welding symbols.
  • Prepare weld joints, complete fit-ups, and perform finishing operations.
  • Operate grinders, weld positioners, and semi-automated welding equipment.
  • Work on pressure vessels, tubing systems, and welded assemblies.
  • Maintain a safe work environment by following safety procedures and using required PPE.
  • Document work, maintain tools, and keep work areas organized.
  • Operate cranes with proper certification and safely lift materials up to 50 pounds.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Ability to read blueprints, use measuring devices, and follow work instructions.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
  • Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office and ERP software.
  • Knowledge of design, layout, mechanical principles, and product operation.
  • Good hand-eye coordination, manual dexterity, and spatial awareness.
  • Ability to bend, reach, squat, and lift up to 50 pounds.
  • Commitment to workplace safety and proper use of welding-related safety equipment.
  • Positive attitude, ownership mentality, and ability to work effectively as part of a team.
